Does anyone have the recipe for the fried fish with chilli? Cause it's *chef's kiss*!

They have tables inside but food all come in takeout containers due to short staff (which the waiter will tell you when you walk in). Don't be detered by that though, because you will want to stay for the food. We ordered: #37 Sai Oua aka traditional Lao sausage (5/5 stars, $14.5) - I always try this at Laotian restaurant, and this is one of the top 3 I've tried. High recommend! #32 Nam Kao (4.5/5, $16.95) - crispy rice and pork that you put inside a lettuce wrap and then add herbs like mint, cilantro and green onion. It's perfect for a hot summer lunch, and surprisingly filling. #19 Kua Mee Lao with Pork (3.5/5 stars, $14.5) the waiter recommend this as similar to Pad Thai with no ketchup, and with sliced scrambled egg on top.

Excellent Lao cuisine and truly a hidden gem. I tried the Nam Khao and the Lao sausage and both dishes were amazing here. The Lao sausage here tasted better and more flavorful than at other Lao restaurants in the area which is a huge plus. The nam khao was my favorite dish here. The crispy rice balls with peanuts were so tasty and savory and went so well with the lettuce wrap you wrap it in. The portions were huge so definitely come with a friend or two to enjoy. While the restaurant offers dine in, they still serve everything in take out boxes. Will definitely be back here again soon!

Got the Nam Kao and it was AMAZING . Loved the crunchy bits in the fried rice, the slight heat, and the freshness from the mint and lettuce. Will definitely be back to try their other dishes.

It's a hidden jam in town that is located in a small plaza. Beginning we thought it was Thai food. But actually they are Laos. Dishes are pretty flavorful. Chicken skin with papaya salad is so good. Papaya salad is a bit fishier than Thai style. The sauce is must have. The sausage goes so well with sticky rice. We also order pa see yew which taste a bit different than Thai style too. Overall the price is good with big portion. They only have one server and all foods are served in togo box. Like this hidden jam and will return again and again. S

Only my second or third time w Laotian food, but figured it'd be great to try new things! Even though many of the items say there is coconut milk or flakes, I was surprised to say that I enjoyed them as usually the coconut is too much for me. Laab seen 3/5 ($15ish?) - ground beef and tripe mixed with some green onions, cilantro, garnished with mint and a squeeze of lemon juice for a meaty, tangy, fresh taste that goes well w the cabbage provided on the side. Nam kao 4/5 ($15ish?) - Not sure how to describe this dish, but I can see why it's a popular one. It kinda best resembles a fried rice, but w a different flavor profile than I'm used to. Definitely something I enjoyed and will try to see if there are any recipes online so I can make this at home! Bbq chicken 3/5 ($15ish?) - grilled chicken that's seasoned well, got a great texture and taste (though I didn't taste the coconut listed on the menu). Always appreciate grilled meat!

This has easily become of my new favorite restaurants. The food is DELICIOUS. The staff is so kind and friendly. They have the best traditional Lao sausage and Thai tea. The bbq chicken and steak were also very good. Make sure to order plenty of sticky rice with your order. I loved that they provided a heaping of fresh lettuce, mint, cilantro, jalapeño with the order as well. Right now they are only doing take out orders but I didn't mind since they provided utensils and paper plates with the order. The service was also very fast! Definitely stop by and try their amazing food if you're in the area!

My wife's brother took us here and I was pleasantly surprised how much we liked the food. We got a lot including a Papaya Salad, Pad Thai, Fried Rice, Gaeng Kiew Wan, Pa Lad Prig, and sticky rice. All of it was excellent and they gave a lot which easily fed 5 of us with plenty of leftovers. When we arrived, it was also pretty empty, so getting a table shouldn't be a problem. I think the only downside is that the area seemed a bit sketchy. I'm not familiar with Seattle, but it didn't seem like a place you wanted to hangout at night and all the surrounding stores were abandoned or closed. Nonetheless, this place had good food.

This is my new favorite place to eat. I remember coming here in high school and getting the curry (which was amazing) but regret never branching out and trying their other foods. It's not a far drive at all and I wish I had returned sooner. Lao cuisine is so amazing. Nam Kao - BOMB. Your fried rice revolutionized. I love the combination of the curry, lime, and pork. It just works together so well. Tum Mak Hoong - Lao papaya salad. I typically like Thai styled papaya salad better but this has certainly turned my opinion around. It hits the spot. Laab Gai - Super underrated dish and if you like a tangy lime flavor with your meat you need to try this. Seen Hang - Dried beef that my friend suggested. I'm so glad we ordered this. You need to get a side of sticky rice with it and it's the perfect snack. Sai Oua - Tradition Lao sausage. I've always had trust issues with sausage, because I've encountered far too many with very questionable ingredients but wow is this amazing. I love lemongrass too and it just emphasizes the flavor. An absolutely MUST in your order.
